Q: Do You Have A Showroom?
A: No, We are online marketplace where various merchants list their products for sale.
Q: Where Do You Source Your Products?
A: Products listed are sourced locally and internationally from Nigeria, Malaysia, China and the USA by our various merchants.
Q: Do You Offer Delivery Service?
A: Yes, we do offer delivery service within Lagos and Ogun state. For locations outside these states, we engage independent haulage companies that are quite affordable, but they do not offer home delivery service. You will be notified on arrival to come pick up your consignment from their depot. They offer an average of about a week from pick up to drop off depending on distance.
Q: Do You Offer Cash On Delivery (COD)
A: Yes, we do for Lagos and Ogun state customers. For other states, we offer CASH BEFORE DELIVERY (CBD) due to our lack of physical presence in the states.
Q: Can I Place Orders For Products Over N100,000 On Cash On Delivery?
A:Our company policy says that orders over N200,000 have to be confirmed by paying a commitment deposit of 75% before delivery. This applies ONLY to Lagos and Ogun state customers. For the rest of the country 100% is required
NOTE: The N5,000 shipment charge for the rest of the country is a base shipping cost for packages weighing from 1 – 30kg.
Q: Do You Offer Warranty On Your Products?
A: We offer manufacturer defect warranty for 3 months. After the warranty period, we encourage our customers to still reach out to us, should they have any defect aside normal wear and tear as a result of years of usage. The essence is also to advise them on how to salvage their product rather than buy new ones.
Q: Do You Offer Bespoke Product Or Services Aside What Is SOLD ON Your Online Store?
A: Yes we do, Please call our customer service number- 0812 222 0264 to book an appointment.
Q: Do You Accept Installment Payment For Your Products?
A: We do via partnership with financial institutions like Zilla Africa, Carbon etc to offer such services for a maximum repayment period of 1 to 12 months.
Q: How Will My Order Arrive?
A: You will receive your order through our Direct Delivery Service if you are within Lagos and Ogun State or via our shipping & logistics partners for locations outside this states. Note, our logistic partners do not offer home delivery service. Should you require this service, you can negotiate with them, but it would be an extra fee to deliver to your home from their depot in your state on arrival. The amount you have paid to us for shipment covers from our warehouse to our logistics partner's terminal in the rest of the country.
After placing your order, you will be contacted to schedule home delivery, If within Lagos and or Ogun state. Please arrange for someone to be present when the truck arrives. We believe the timing is critical, so if you need to reschedule the date, kindly contact us as soon as possible at the phone number listed in your order confirmation: 0812 222 0264 or via email info@hogfurniture.com.ng.
For other states, our logistic partners will contact you upon arrival of your consignment to come to their depot with a means of identification and collect your shipment. If you want it delivered to your location it will attract extra charges to be determined by the haulage agency.
Q: How Do I know When My Items Are Arriving?
A: In Direct Delivery orders: typically around two business days after purchase, you will receive email notifications on the status of your order and our delivery service team will contact you and schedule a delivery time at your convenience. They will also call you the day before delivery to confirm the delivery time and date further.
Q: Can My Order Be Delivered The Same Day?
A: Yes, it can. However, it depends on nature and size of the product ordered and also the location for delivery. Below is a list of places that are covered by the same day delivery service.
Ikeja and its environs.
Apapa and its environs.
Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi and its environs.
Q: What About Warranty And Hidden Costs?
A: There are no extra taxes, hidden costs or additional dispatch charges. The price mentioned on the website is the final price, what you see is what you pay. Our prices are all-inclusive.
Q: Can Orders Be Shipped Internationally?
A: At the moment HOG - Home. Office. Garden doesn't deliver items internationally. You are more than welcome to make your purchases on our site from anywhere in the world, but you'll have to ensure the delivery address is in Nigeria.
Q: How Do I Shop At Your Store?
A: Our Return policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Non-returnable items:
- Gift cards: To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Goods with obvious signs of use: Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery
