The Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF) is the brainchild of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is considered to be the largest international exhibition in West Africa. The event which is a 10-day event usually start on the very first day of November of each calendar year.
A brief history of LITF
The fair started in the year 1977 and it was taken over by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1986 officially. The event attracts countries from different continents such as Japan, China, Sweden, India, Belgium, Turkey, Portugal, Jordan, Indonesia, Singapore, Ghana, Egypt, Cameroon, Jamaica, South Africa, Kenya, Republic of Benin amongst others.
Last year, over 2,000 exhibitors participated in the event. About 500,000 visitors attended the fair and attracted 200 foreign exhibitors.
This year, 3000 exhibitors to include 300 foreign exhibitors and 500,000 and 600,000 visitors were expected.
Hog Furniture at LITF 2019
Hog Furniture, a leading online marketplace for home, office, garden, decor and more furniture paid a courtesy visit to her some of her merchants who have their wares exhibited in the fair such as Brother, Hp, Choice sanitary wares and others.
Although, the 2019 edition of LITF may have come and gone but razzmatazz, ambience still lingers till the next edition.
