Place a few brackets on the underside of your kitchen counters. These look like they're supporting the counters, but they're purely decorative.

Decorative Art on the Walls of the Living Room

Add a Backsplash to the Kitchen
Another easy project you can try in your kitchen would be installing a backsplash above the sink. Usually, you don't have a ton of room in that spot, so it's a small project.
You'll have to start by removing the existing paint or wallpaper. Apply some adhesive above the sink and allow it to set. Then, you can begin decorating the spot by placing tile in a mosaic pattern.

Dig a Firepit in the Backyard
Nothing feels better than gathering around a fire in the backyard after getting off of work. It's particularly great when you've got a ton of great company sitting around the fire with you.
You can't make those types of memories without building a fire pit. Most homes don't have them whenever you first move in. You got to build one of them to enjoy their benefits at your home.
Dig a hole about 6 feet into the ground and line it with stones. Create a rim of brick around the lip of the hall. After you've built the pit, you can begin to install seating around it. That's going to make hanging around the fire feel a lot more comfortable after it's all done.
