1) Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an application or participating in the HOG Furniture Affiliate Program (“Program”), you (“Affiliate,” “you”) agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not join or participate.

2) Definitions

• Affiliate Link / Coupon: Your unique URL and/or coupon used to attribute sales.

• Qualified Purchase: A completed, eligible order placed by a customer after clicking your link or using your coupon, subject to exclusions and validation below.

• Cookie Window: 30 days from first click, unless stated otherwise for a specific campaign.

• Dashboard: Your secure portal to view links, creatives, offers, performance, and payouts.

3) Enrollment & Eligibility

• Apply via our online form. We may approve, decline, or revoke approval at our discretion.

• Ineligible properties include content that is unlawful; promotes hate/violence; infringes IP; shares malware; is adult/obscene; impersonates HOG Furniture; or otherwise harms our brand.

• Do not register domains, handles, or ads that include or mimic “HOG Furniture,” “hogfurniture,” or confusingly similar marks.

4) Program Access, Materials & Tracking

• Access approved links, creatives, and coupons in your dashboard. Do not alter tracking parameters.

• We use cookies and/or coupons. Unless a campaign states otherwise, last valid click or applied coupon within the Cookie Window generally receives credit.

• Placing orders on behalf of clients is permitted where allowed by policy. To ensure attribution:

  • Start from your affiliate link or apply your coupon at checkout;

  • Use the client’s shipping details;

  • Include your affiliate email/ID in order notes if available.

5) Commission, Validation & Payouts

• Rates: As published in your dashboard or campaign terms.

• Validation: Commissions move from Pending to Approved after our 7-day return window. For clarity, approvals occur at T+8 (Africa/Lagos, WAT) to account for weekends/time-zones.

• Payout Schedule: No minimum payout. Approved balances are paid twice weekly—Tuesdays and Thursdays (WAT).

• Cut-off: Commissions approved by 23:59 WAT on the day before a payout date are included in that payout. Later approvals roll to the next cycle.

• Method: Bank transfer (NIP) for Nigerian accounts; [Paystack/Flutterwave/PayPal/Wise/etc.] for others where supported. Processing times depend on banking networks.

• Exclusions & Reversals: Taxes, shipping, gift cards, cancelled/returned orders, chargebacks, fraud, employee purchases, and any excluded categories in campaign terms do not qualify. If a payout is made and the order is later refunded/charged back, the commission will be reversed and offset against your next payouts (a negative balance may apply).

Example timeline:
Order Mon 1 → Return window ends Mon 8 → Commission approves Tue 9 (T+8) → Paid Thu 11, if before the cut-off.

6) Advertising & Compliance Standards

6.1 Anti-Spam & Consent
No unsolicited emails/SMS/DMs. Only message users who have consented and provide a visible opt-out.

6.2 Paid Search & Trademark Bidding

• No bidding on our brand or misspellings (e.g., “hog furniture,” “hogfurniture,” “hogfurniture.co,” or “hog furniture coupon”).

• Do not use our brand in ad display URLs or appear to be HOG Furniture.

• Drive paid traffic to your own property before any redirection.

6.3 Prohibited Practices
No cookie stuffing, forced clicks, toolbars, ad injectors, cloaking, deceptive pop-ups/unders, iFrame loads that set cookies without user action, or any mechanism that overwrites attribution.

6.4 Content, Claims & Disclosure

• Be truthful about features, pricing, and availability.

• Include a clear affiliate disclosure near your links (e.g., “I may earn a commission from qualifying purchases.”).

• Follow applicable advertising and endorsement rules in your jurisdiction.

6.5 Coupons & Deal Sites
Only promote active, approved coupons. No “leaked” or “exclusive” claims unless expressly granted.

7) Intellectual Property (IP)

We grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use our logos and creatives as provided for the sole purpose of promoting HOG Furniture under these Terms. No ownership is transferred. Do not use our marks in your domain names, social handles, company names, or app names.

8) Content Ownership & Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your sites/channels/content and for securing rights to any third-party materials you use. Do not infringe IP or privacy rights.

9) Data Protection & Privacy

• Handle personal data lawfully and securely; collect only what you need for the Program.

• Comply with applicable laws (e.g., NDPR in Nigeria and GDPR where relevant).

• Do not collect or store customer payment details.

• Report suspected data incidents promptly to security@hogfurniture.co (or your program contact).

10) Term, Suspension & Termination

• We may suspend or terminate participation at any time, including for suspected fraud, non-compliance, TM bidding, spam, or IP infringement.

• You may terminate at any time via written notice.

• Upon termination, remove our links/creatives and stop representing affiliation. Valid, approved commissions not subject to clawback may be paid on the next cycle at our discretion.

11) Representations & Warranties

You represent that you: (a) have authority to enter this Agreement; (b) will comply with laws, platform rules, and these Terms; (c) will not harm our brand, customers, or systems.

12) Disclaimers

The Program, Site, App, and materials are provided “as is.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation and may change any aspect of the Program at any time.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the preceding six (6) months.

14) Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless HOG Furniture, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents against claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, conduct, or breach of these Terms.

15) Confidentiality

Non-public materials we share (e.g., private rates, offers, or roadmaps) are confidential. Do not disclose without our written consent.

16) Taxes & KYC

You are responsible for all taxes on your commissions. We may require KYC/AML documentation and tax information before payment.

17) Independent Contractor

You act as an independent contractor. These Terms do not create a partnership, franchise, agency, or employment relationship.

18) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Venue lies in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria. Parties will first attempt good-faith negotiation; if unresolved within 30 days, either party may seek relief in court.

19) Changes to the Program or Terms

We may modify the Program or these Terms at any time. Updates take effect when posted on hogfurniture.co or notified via your registered email. Continued participation constitutes acceptance.

20) Entire Agreement & Severability

These Terms (plus any campaign-specific terms and our Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.

• Abuse protection applies (e.g., return–repurchase loops or coupon gaming may be reversed/limited).
